Welcome to Flight Academy Basketball! We’re a youth basketball training organization located in the San Francisco Peninsula focusing on player development for school leagues, club tournaments or recreation.
About
Flight Academy Basketball is an organization focused around the development of youth basketball by establishing the fundamentals, educating players on the rules and increasing their understanding of the game. Success to these key features are designed through a program that involves drills, refining footwork, dribbling techniques, shooting skills, conditioning and scrimmages.
2020 Spring-Summer Details
2020 AAU Spring-Summer Season
Season starts the first week in March and will conclude with the last tournament on July 4th weekend.
Dedicated head coach for the entire season. He/she will host your practice sessions and attend every tournament.
2 scheduled practices per week.
Tournament Schedule
10 tournaments throughout the season: 9 local and 1 destination. The following is the tentative schedule.
- March 21st
- April 4th, 11th & 25th
- May 9th, 23rd & 30th
- June 20th & 27th
- July 3rd-5th, Hawaii Jam On It
Game film and statistics
We are partnering with Footage this season to provide game film and statistics for every player. Reviewing game film is an invaluable tool to help determine a players strengths and weaknesses. Pair that with statistics and our coaching staff will be able to help tailor the needs of your child and the team overall.
Fees
- Season fees $875
- New player uniform $80. 4 piece home and away
Player Eligibility
- 9U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2010 thru Aug. 31 2011
- 10U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2009 thru Aug. 31 2010
- 11U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2008 thru Aug. 31 2009
- 12U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2007 thru Aug. 31 2008
- 13U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2006 thur Aug. 31 2007
- 14U – Player’s birth date is between Sept. 1 2005 thru Aug. 31 2006
Tryouts
Free tryouts will be held during February and March. Attendance to both tryouts are mandatory. First session will evaluate fundamentals and a players skillset. The second session will feature scrimmages. Registration is required to attend. No drop-ins.

Offer letters will be sent out immediately after the final tryout date. A response deadline will be required two days following tryouts. Unresponsive offers will be given to the Waitlist players.
